Lazy bones....

I had been distributing incompleteness.
I had several projects in varying stages of incomplete status.
When I appear stuck it disturbs me.
Am I a victim of Godel's incompleteness theory?

To be honest there were a few elements outside of my control affecting
this incompleteness distribution...

The weather over the past few days has contributed greatly
to the urge to do nothing.....
and---
Honestly i was somewhat worn down by projects 
i had manage to complete recently...but...

The weather cleared and I simply began working through
these stages of incompleteness by putting my head down and 
driving through some of these projects to their proper conclusion. 
Still at it tho.....

Yard work can just plain suck...

There's no way around it.....

Often within the labor there is nothing meta-physical involved.
Bend, pull, repeat.
No sense of completion.

Impossible to Philosophize when pulling weeds, for me anyway.

I need to put my brain to work devising some type of outside
the box solution to eliminate the required physicality 
of weeding the yard....?
So my thoughts can wander freely.

Gas Prices:

When commuting 76 miles on my daily work R/T 
I was constantly noting the rise and fall
of the price of gasoline.
I knew the exact point of fuel pricing to the penny.
In retirement I now fuel our vehicles so rarely that I have no
graph in my head as to the current level of vehicle fuel pricing.
No concept of whether gasoline prices are running high or low at this moment?

 Our Toyota Tacoma pickup is our daily use,
around town shopping, picking up stuff--
our do everything vehicle.

We occasionally, occasionally 
burn half a tank of gasoline a month utilizing it around town.
Maybe, maybe eight gallons....
Our Brabus, diesel Smart Car pocket rocket--

Has been averaging 73mpg...
With it's 5 gallon tank, on the odd occasion, 
I top it off with a gallon or two---only due to my OCD nature 
in demanding the tank read full at all times....
I could probably go four months without refueling it at all.

It struck me the other day how much of a relief
it was to be out of day to day control by the Oil Giants 
and in some small manner we are as free as we can be
 from enriching them any further.

It was very, very pleasant to be struck by the knowledge
that being serfs for fuel is  
now over----

I have long been an admirer of Mr.Sanders for
his honesty, and his desire to actually make 
our nation a better place---for everyone..
Supporting Bernie Sanders is the only place
in politics for a compassionate human. 

An independent, a Senator from Vermont, a democratic socialist.
Without a doubt his positions and this 
background dooms him to fail in modern Corpmerica.

I can't use the word "HOPE"
ever again within politics.
Obama killed that single word for me.
At least Bernie Sanders can remind Hillary Clinton
what it means to be a real Democrat.

I obtained a small treasure for the collection this week...

A Sanyo M-7300K.

Sized between a mini-box and a medium, this little, black,
 Sanyo has big sound and multiple high grade features.

After repairs and a detail cleaning,

the black box looks great, plays great and sounds great.

My most recent study in Jazz and newly favorite

 boombox mix tape is Dexter Gordon's

1963 album 'Our man in Paris'.

Gordon, a big man, was known for his LARGE sound on the Sax.

His material is very good listening.

My favorite cut is his beautiful version of "As time goes by".

My daily productivity varies enormously.
The end result has no apparent connection to
how i feel upon awakening.
Some days I leap awake ready for anything:

but I wind up accomplishing nothing?
Other days---

I stand around unable to get started,
but wind up accomplishing a great deal.

I haven't quite yet gotten a feel---

for "normal" retirement, work around the house. 

I was discussing with a friend on email how

it is impossible to go to Home Depot only once

for supplies and actually complete a project.

It is apparently a Universal law--of home improvement.

The initial trip to Home Depot is merely to buy the wrong size or type material

with which to extensively fuck up the project
while attempting one's repair or installation.. 
This is an inviolate law of nature--

Repeat trips to Home Depot for more shit as often as necessary until 
somehow the project just seems to work itself out.

There have been several articles on the net this week
that just scream in reporting the "death" of FM radio.
A lame example
These articles are total bullshit.
They are based on the fact that Norway--yes Norway and only Norway.
is switching over to a completely digital national radio service.
No transmission over the airwaves--at all...
FM via the internet digitally...
The articles make it sound as if tomorrow FM radio in the US will disappear?
Bullshit!
First of all--- when have we in the United States
ever followed the lead of any enlightened socialist nation?
Especially Norway?

We absolutely refuse to follow Norway's lead on providing
 social benefits the average Norweigan citizen enjoys such as:
 Free health care for all--?
Nationwide professional free child care centers--?
A universal retirement system?
Free University attendance?
One year of childbirth leave from work?
A 37 hr. work week, no overtime.
21 paid National holidays from work any work?
National Holidays does not include their 4 weeks of vacation or sick time?

No self-respecting Merican' would follow Norway's lead on anything.

So rest assured that 
 Merican' FM radio ain't going nowhere--never!

Cause well, cause----
Norway SOCIALISM Got-dammit!
