My cheap ($80.00) neck arrived from China...
When I say cheap I mean cheap compared to
Fender factory necks which now cost as much
as a whole guitar---?
It's perfectly finished, the frets are
installed smoothly, and the fret edges
are nicely clean..
You cannot see it in the photo's but there
is actually a fair amount of curl in the maple!
the segment of the neck that mounts the neck itself to the guitar
body, just slid right into the guitar's neck pocket..
This area normally requires much trimming and fiddling with,
so I got really lucky...?
just awaiting one more order to come in,
it's the rather unique, pick guard material and then
I guess I can actually start putting
this girl together...!
