I experimented this week with my

square neck dobro.

I had previously installed a humbucker pick-up

at the neck but to me the overall sound was lacking.

So I added a sound-hole mic inserted closer to the

bridge for more treble and am running both pickups

out via a Y cable to the pedal board.

The tone and sound reproduction is much better.

It is somewhat jury-rigged however....?

But hey--?
