Okay, let's see here... Shatner, Shatner... no, doesn't look like he's in this one; we're safe.

An insane woman, living one block over
has been calling animal control, the mayor and
threatening to sue people living on our block for barking dogs?
This appears to be nothing more than her personal, insane hobby?
Believe me when i say our neighborhood's dogs simply do normal dog barking.
Nothing out of the ordinary.
Our little Boston Terrier never barks and hates the great outdoors.
Because of our little dog's idiosyncrasies
we have not personally felt the brunt of the dog hater's craziness.
But--
Others on our block have faced constant harassment
and legal threats from her.
Including the 80 year old couple across the street.
I am proud of our block because tomorrow night
there will be a neighborhood meeting,
to work out a method of how we all are going to deal with her?
I am really looking forward to this meeting.
I appreciate and support the concept of us banding together
to deal with a common threat---
as if we were a commune discussing and
dealing with a mutual problem in an adult manner.
So the end result of this woman's assholedom
is that she has turned us into a real community
willing to fight a local evil.

Still painting--- for awhile yet.

I will raise the chess difficulty level one step
on my Ipad app...I've been playing well lately.
I am truly not bragging, one step up and the pad
is going hand me my ass, routinely.
Below is a link to an excellent article.
If you don't mind playing New Jersey style?

Maureen O'Hara passed away in her sleep.
She was 95.
She was a real beauty before there was plastic surgery..
Every Irishman's dream girl.
Maureen O'Hara co-starred with John Wayne
in my all time favorite film:
The Quiet Man.
She was special...

Cyberpunk:

This week wearing:
My new/old Seiko 7002 diver.
I finished the Cijaba watch modification project.
The gray rubber replacement band I had planned on did not work out.
So I installed a temporary black NATO band.
All in all a success I think?

am
growing my ponytail again?

But....
our cell phone service called and advised that
our cell phones are so old that they will soon no longer
access their towers?
In order for them to continue to provide service
for us we have to get new phones?
So fuck me we are being forced into the IPhone world.
What could possibly go wrong?

David McCallum
Illya Nickovitch Kuryakin
Is still acting at 82.
It must have been a long strange trip.
Yesterday's The Man from Uncle to today's NCIS?

Well, he probably knows what he's doing.

Busy.
Doing stuff.
Happy.
We will have rain in the desert this week,
with possible flooding?

really, really, really want----
this Science Fiction automatic body armor
from the Lost in Space remake?
It would be so cool just to be talking to someone
and suddenly activate it !

Geometry is used everywhere in day to day life?

The government has announced it is going to regulate those
little, remote controlled Nerd Drones?
drop the remote control and put your hands up!
There are a fucking billion little drones out there already,
followed by another billion which will be sold just because
of these articles on the upcoming regulation.
As they said in star wars
"these are not the drones we are looking for."
These are the drones we should be worried about
and regulate.
When all is said and done....
this regulatory action will probably be as
precise and logical as a TSA airport checkpoint?

I've begun a modification project with a Slava/Cjiaba,
46mm, self winding mechanical watch I purchased several
years ago.
The brand Cjiaba is very weird in that they are Chinese copies
of original Russian Slava watches?
How's that for globalization?
This is a very weird watch----
for example---
The activator button near the watches crown
actually does--er--nothing!
The watch keeps relatively decent time if worn constantly.
The mechanical self-wind system seems to require constant movement
to keep the watch working properly.
My Cjiaba watch is big, thick and mechanical.
Three major plus points in my little Geek watch world--
The Cjiaba is an incredibly ugly watch in it's natural state.
I am attempting to eliminate the ugly with this project?
The first step was
de-greasing and masking the crystal areas of the watch.
I am actually painting this watch
with multiple coats of Flat Black.
Extensive drying and hardening between coats is required.
This blacking out was followed by multiple protective flat clear coats.
Once again with extensive drying and hardening periods between clear coats.
These clear coats will hopefully prevent the paint from scaring during normal use.

I currently have in route the above 24mm Infantry gray rubber, watch band
to mount on this watch.
My hope is the combination of flat black and flat gray will be worthwhile?
This is my first attempt at cosmetically modding a watch.
The Cjiaba is a perfect candidate to experiment on--
initial low cost & no loss if this project fails.
So far the end result appears to have made a huge
stylistic change..
The crystal clouding is the result of my poor photography.
Not the result of my reconstructive process.
I will provide information and photographs on the end result
when i have completed my work.

Wearing this week:

This was actually a good action film.
I'm not normally a Sean Penn fan...but...
