Well, he probably knows what he's doing.

Busy.
Doing stuff.
Happy.
We will have rain in the desert this week,
with possible flooding?

really, really, really want----
this Science Fiction automatic body armor
from the Lost in Space remake?
It would be so cool just to be talking to someone
and suddenly activate it !

Geometry is used everywhere in day to day life?

The government has announced it is going to regulate those
little, remote controlled Nerd Drones?
drop the remote control and put your hands up!
There are a fucking billion little drones out there already,
followed by another billion which will be sold just because
of these articles on the upcoming regulation.
As they said in star wars
"these are not the drones we are looking for."
These are the drones we should be worried about
and regulate.
When all is said and done....
this regulatory action will probably be as
precise and logical as a TSA airport checkpoint?

I've begun a modification project with a Slava/Cjiaba,
46mm, self winding mechanical watch I purchased several
years ago.
The brand Cjiaba is very weird in that they are Chinese copies
of original Russian Slava watches?
How's that for globalization?
This is a very weird watch----
for example---
The activator button near the watches crown
actually does--er--nothing!
The watch keeps relatively decent time if worn constantly.
The mechanical self-wind system seems to require constant movement
to keep the watch working properly.
My Cjiaba watch is big, thick and mechanical.
Three major plus points in my little Geek watch world--
The Cjiaba is an incredibly ugly watch in it's natural state.
I am attempting to eliminate the ugly with this project?
The first step was
de-greasing and masking the crystal areas of the watch.
I am actually painting this watch
with multiple coats of Flat Black.
Extensive drying and hardening between coats is required.
This blacking out was followed by multiple protective flat clear coats.
Once again with extensive drying and hardening periods between clear coats.
These clear coats will hopefully prevent the paint from scaring during normal use.

I currently have in route the above 24mm Infantry gray rubber, watch band
to mount on this watch.
My hope is the combination of flat black and flat gray will be worthwhile?
This is my first attempt at cosmetically modding a watch.
The Cjiaba is a perfect candidate to experiment on--
initial low cost & no loss if this project fails.
So far the end result appears to have made a huge
stylistic change..
The crystal clouding is the result of my poor photography.
Not the result of my reconstructive process.
I will provide information and photographs on the end result
when i have completed my work.

Wearing this week:

This was actually a good action film.
I'm not normally a Sean Penn fan...but...
