We don't do holidays.
Any holidays.

The shit holidays create and the shit holidays demand are simply not worth it to us.

We do birthdays big--
 holidays tho--we pass on.
It's not that we're at war against holidays or any garbage like that.
We just don't like the Holiday hype and the surrounding human insanity?
 We hang out on holidays,

and wait for them to pass.
This Thanksgiving was 
French toast & egg rolls...

followed by binge watching something on Netflix.
Christmas will the much the same.
We understand other people enjoy spending the holidays
with their families...

We've just never seen the wonderment
that most people see in Christmas or Thanksgiving.

Most of all, we cannot understand the religious side...

I find it strange that New Mexico, my current home state,
has no Xenomorph sightings or legends?

You might respond to my statement by saying that since
we in New Mexico have several alien crash sites,
and were the first state nuked---
that should be fucking enough weirdness for us---right?
I think that having all that other strangeness
should make us in New Mexico the perfect home for
some kind of Bigfoot fucking thing?
Why don't we have one?
You do have to be careful of what you wish for with Xenomorphs tho----

I am still reading SPQR , a history of how Rome came to be.
It is strange how one book can lead to another and another?
SPQR  inspired an interest in me to read more on the Romans
so now this book is in route:

Everyday carry is not simply cool knives, carry bags, med kits etc.
EDC is a philosophy is how one can be more useful.
It is about becoming/being efficient in using available tools against the world around us. 

I just received a new shoes I purchased based on the 
principles of EDC...a pair of BOGS Urban Walkers.
These are really tough, amazing, comfortable shoes,
viable for any climate or condition i may find myself in.

And added plus to me is that they are an UGLY shoe.
