Someone invented a weed puller that actually works--
and i am going to sing it's praises!

No really--you have no idea how hard it is for me to break down into
the retired, old guy, talk about my yard mode--

The Fiskar triple claw weeder is fucking amazing and
you use it standing up.

I bought one of these weeders not really expecting much--
I am usually very unlucky at finding that miracle and amazing
product that doesn't snap in half or totally fail--you know?
When i break down and buy a product like this,
I am usually
desperately hoping for help
with a tough job like pulling a million weeds--
and usually I wind up totally screwed!
But not this time!!!
I pulled every weed in our front yard
in a couple of hours--no problem...
This tool made pulling weeds seem almost too easy....

I can't say enough good things about this product.

Fiskar triple claw weeder

This week I am starting a new watch construction project.
A very different project for me, the results of which
may wind up being excellent or terrible?
I won't be able to tell until completion?

I had a high polished, coin-rolled edge,
rather expensive casing, with which i had considered building
a dress watch.

I could not locate an interesting (to me) dial and hands 
combination which was pleasing to me 
to build for this type of dress watch.
Maybe it was just me---?
I am more of a utility watch maker...
I am now attempting something very weird
to try and utilize this dress watch casing.
I am combining this dress watch casing
 with an Italian military dial face and large-super illuminated hands.
The movement will be a standard 6497-26 mechanical. 

I will do something extremely weird for me with
this watch build as well, which is to combine
this watch's chromed casing, black dial, yellow numerals, white hands
 with a 
Hadley-Roma, ORANGE, leather band..

Yes--I said Orange...Christ?

Orange has become a very popular watchband color.
I thought this color might work as an experiment with this
Franken-watch.
