I'm going to start slapping you now and I may never stop..

I keep noticing more and more glitches in the Matrix...?
Is this just me--or what---?
I have also been suffering from a cold which
simply will not pass...
Colds are worse when one enters Geezerdom...
Colds hit harder and it is impossible now to just ignore
them and drive on as when one was younger..?
A link to 50 little good pieces of news...

With the arrival of parts,
I began work on modifying my Casio GA-100A watch
that I mentioned in my previous blog....
I removed the stock band---
Replaced the stock band with a replacement
black NATO band..
Casio G-Shock's require a pair of band adapters
to utilize anything other than a stock G-Shock band...
Next I attached a watchband compass,
this particular one has a snap down lid..
I am only now awaiting a black, bull bar,
crystal protector,
 that is coming from God
knows where in China to add more black to the watch face..
Once the bull bars are installed this project
is completed....

Well----working on the Esquire project as
best I can this week with a horrendous cold...
I installed the tuners...
I had to position, mark and drill the
mounting holes for the in-line tuners..
The photo above shows pre-installation---
and below post installation...
It can be tough combining so many
after-market items into one guitar--?
But so far everything looks very nice and clean..
Next I'll be drilling the neck to body mounting screws
(which is really kinda scary....)
If I screw that up the guitar is trash
which is why I've been putting off doing it..?

Japan has been evolving through a
retro-revolution for the past ten years...
Consumers in Japan have been driving purchases of
all types of old, used analog styled equipment...?
The Japanese however, take excellent care of their shit---
so buying used there means as buying as good as new...
Plus Japanese guys develop new fixations,
on different hobbies all the time...so----?
They are constantly selling shit to buy more new/old stuff...?
Some say this is based on their economy being stagnant..?
I think some people are just searching--?
what-japans-love-of-nostalgia-says-about-its-economy

Totally hysterical....
on Amazon streaming
we've binged through this twice now..
We can't help ourselves,
it explains so much..!
