You've not seen nothing like the Mighty Quinn.....

I had some time to reflect this week.
This was nice to be able to sit and just think.
Yet at the same time i feel that the recent
summer solstice has disturbed the WA of things.

Have a system for grooming and I know that
it takes me exactly 22 minutes to shower and shave?

Am unable to drive a dirty vehicle any distance before washing it?

Vacuum the house a lot--

think Jayne Cobb is the best TV character of all time?
can only fall asleep 95% of the time by lying on my stomach?
Which is the least healthy sleeping position.
that I can read and watch TV at the same time,
but i cannot speak on the phone and watch TV at the same time?

More of these little strange items to come---

I am so much more in touch with the seasons since i stopped working.
Strange that I write of this subject during the summer solstice...
I appear to have built a system, without knowing it,
of doing specific jobs or endeavors on a seasonally adjusted basis.
I do things based on the best season to do the job,
compared to an artificially constructed, work time line.
Since the onset of spring I have not sat and read
a book,  built a model, played an instrument or worked on a watch.
It appears that serious reading, and other detail orientated tasking
 is now a winter thing...?
Much to do outside all day, working on the house and yards in spring and summer,
until I simply fall out, exhausted at night.
Basically I am living a medieval peasant's life.
My accounting of time has become a
simpler ?

I'm awaiting the delivery of a recently purchased
Marantz, gold series, M3040 box.
(the singular net photo of this model found below)
This is a smaller sized, very simple box--developed after the original
Japanese designed, Magnavox/Superscope line was discontinued.
The gold series boombox was a follow through
of the Marantz gold series home component stereo equipment line.
This box was supposed to project more of an uptown image.
My purchase comes with the original box and packing as well as with an owner's manual,
a very rare occurrence.
I also have in route a $26.00 Akai Pj-33.
It's supposedly fully functional?
Can't wait to find out if i'm a hero or zero for this purchase.

Being too stubborn to quit.
I have managed to get my solar power project working.
There is still a bit of a way to go yet----but---
I am creating and storing power.
Photographs soon....
But first I'm sure the scientific community will want to hear from me,
so i better get this blog wrapped up.

My Darling JoJo gave me an IPAD Air as an early birthday present...!
The book she got me to go along with it is a hoot--
I think....?...Maybe---?
Wait a second what does it say below the My iPad part---?

We have Monarch Butterfly caterpillars
in our garden.
They are hungry, whole plant eating little bastards
but--
Monarchs are endangered now, and we let them eat
what they will--because what's the world without butterflies?
