Lazy has been creeping up on me.
Slowly but surely.
I hold several theories as to the why behind my apparent slow-down?
8 retired months of hard work on catch-up homestead projects,
may have caught up to me?
I may simply physically require a break, to charge my performance batteries.
Standing at the back of the theory line is the ever present,
'i just may be getting old' theory
awaiting it's inevitable acceptance.
A rational explanation could be that it is
simply very hot here in New Mexico at the
moment, and extreme heat tends to sap the will to perform
even the most mundane tasking,
causing me to sleep in and spend my afternoons
in the cool indoors building plastic model aircraft
rather that rebuilding the roof or something similar?
I cannot determine if i am being incredibly smart in this heat,
or
Time will tell I suppose,
I'm too lazy to decide right now.
Hillary's private email server existed for one reason only.
To hide any possible damaging emails written while she was in any
form of power and to prevent her communications from being accessible
to either the government or the people.
Any regular government employee would have
been immediately fired for transmitting government business
on a personal email account....
much less the fucking Secretary of State for God's sake????
Once again the Clinton's are beyond the rules
of the little people--
Just who the fuck would vote for her?
Here's a link to a very useful site on how to
observe the International Space Station
from wherever you are on Earth.
Mathematicians just discovered a new
Pentagon.
The new Pentagon displayed below is capable of tilting a plane
interconnecting together without spaces or overlapping structures.
Other than weird bathroom tile
what is this new Pentagon good for you may ask?
Self-assembling nano machinery would be one example--
which could change the world...
I have completed my 1/72nd scale Soviet TU-95 Bear.
I had originally intended to create an entire airfield diorama around
this beast of an aircraft.
The shear size of the completed model
ruled out that concept since this model simply dwarfs
any supplemental field equipment displayed with it.
As you can observe by the below photographs displaying
the model completed measured against the size of the dining room table.
I will use the supplemental display material with upcoming smaller
aircraft models and display the TU-95 on a plain base.
I must admit and even I am pleased with the outcome
of this three week long project.
Displayed below in the nerd cave.
Placed high due to it's two foot wingspan requiring
more space than what can be addressed on a standard shelf.
The TU-95 is impressive, even on it's only-for-the-moment jury-rig stand.
I will, in the future have to rebuild the display area.
I have more Soviet aircraft projects in route:
Interesting boomboxes had seemingly disappeared
or become restrictively expensive for awhile now.
My searches have provided negative results.
I had been following the below illustrated
National Panasonic RS-4150LJ for months on
Ebay always listed as a buy it now item.
Over the course of 6 months the sellers price
kept dropping with each re-posting until it finally reached the reasonable
enough price point for me to hit the buy it now button.
This box is now on the way to my collection.
National Panasonic was a Japanese electronic corporation,
the forerunner of the International Panasonic we all currently know now.
National Panasonic created electronic products
for use within Japan's home marketplace.
National Panasonic boomboxes are rare here in
the US and the all black RS-4150-LJ model is especially a rarity.
National Panasonic boomboxes are a bullet proof design based
on the demanding Japanese consumer culture by their use of the boombox as a mini home
stereo system in smaller living spaces.
Producing outstanding sound quality,
the RS-4150-LJ was manufactured in Japan in 1976 and everything
on my example is reported to work perfectly.
The seller even provided a video of the box in operation.
On arrival I will provide additional details and photographs.
Season 2 on DVD.
