A heat wave here in New Mexico--
Heat has forced us to have all gardening
and outside work done by 1100hrs...
at that time we go inside
until sundown---
It has been like living inside Frank Herbert's novel,
Dune.
to their elites..
response on immigration..
Nor was it the result of mass stupidity with the
desire to return to the good old days by British voters..
The success of the Brexit vote to leave the European Union
was a vote against the British 1%er's and their singular profit from globalization.
The average working Brit,
is still mired in recession,
much like our middle class,
and wants CHANGE, any kind of change...
by screaming racism combined with predictions of the
collapse of the country if they left the EU.
The average citizen was unmoved by this scare propaganda.
Voting to leave the EU was a vote against their elites,
the elites who profit at the expense of all others, and their
total disregard of the current condition of the working populace.
There is an excellent article in Salon on this very issue--
It wasn't racism, it was against the elites
need to pay attention to Brexit.
Citizens want immediate cancellation of
winner take all corrupt, corporate capitalist leadership
and it's total disregard for the working human--
the elites won't understand
until it is too late for them...
from Canada,
in great physical and operational shape--
my only complaint is this model is light in the bass range.
It has a super clean, boombox of the future, design.
Telefunken is a German radio company established
in Berlin in 1903, which produced a complex range of
boomboxes in the 1980's.
A unusual addition to the collection!
Nothing to see here--
Another witness dies,
just before providing testimony against Hillary Clinton--
Top official set to testify against Hillary found dead breaking news
Scotty Moore, age 84, passed away this week.
Scotty was Elvis's lead guitar player in the early days
his easily recognized solo's,
on a Gibson Super 400,
established him as a major player
who helped bring rock&roll and it's electric guitar solo into existence.
This really sucks..

My wife presented me with a model car kit
for my birthday it's a--1/24th scale,
1931, 4.5 Litre Blower Bentley.
I had observed this vehicle in one
of the British mystery shows we watch and
was absolutely fascinated by it--
I immediately wanted a model of
it for display on my nerd cave workbench.
Hopefully my upcoming efforts will look somewhat
like this:
To be honest...
I haven't built a model car in 52 years so...
we'll see what the actual result will be?
I am merely awaiting the arrival of British Racing Green
and Aluminum spray paint, prior to starting construction.
At this late stage in life
building models of
cars I wished I could have owned or driven,
might be interesting...
I'll keep you posted..
