Fighting off extreme weirdness this week.

This past holiday weekend was a big time
in my little Roswell New Mexico hometown--
not simply because it was the fourth of July 
but for us--
It's  Alien Fest.

it's just a normal hunk of New Mexico--

The tourist action happens downtown...

During the alien fest there are many events,seminars 
and speakers in town presenting on the Roswell incident.
There are many seminars on the incident

We do get a lot of people in town for this event 
some visitors are VERY serious about the crash--

 some visitors are well...... not so serious....

She was 95 years old--

A friend gave me a Seiko model Seh010,
flight alarm chronograph that is not functioning..

This is a very, old school 90's style flight watch.
In great physical shape--

I found an on-line operators manual and
I am going to work on this watch  
and hopefully (?) get it back in operation.

Out of the blue I have become a crossword
fanatic--

I have never in my life before prior to this month
worked a crossword puzzle..?
Now I am spending the evenings with the Ipad focused
on a crossword app....?
Is this some geezer disease I have never heard of??
Turn a specific age and become crossword addicted?
