Snow & Retirement

The first real week of retirement.
I have kept busy every day.
Enjoyed every day.
Appreciated every day.
It was excellent to watch the snow & temperatures drop
this week and not worry about getting into work and getting back.
I am for sure enjoying this.
I wind up having to remind myself to eat tho?
As i write this it is snowing heavily.
It feels excellent to not have to go out.

Meanwhile:

I am still working on my lock picking.
Never give up, never surrender.

I changed batteries in
my screaming yellow Casio G-shock-GA-100 for the first time.
Changing batteries in G Shocks is truly a bitch.
They have a very strange battery retention system.
I am actually surprised that i didn't screw the pooch
when i removed the dead battery.

I am actually pretty proud of myself for accomplishing this battery change without drama.
I then cleaned and maintained my other Casio watches.

I am also in the process of replacing a battery
for a neighbor across the street...

Shameless on DVD
The liver transplant this year is just hysterical.

On DVD

as well as re-watching episodes every on and again of:

This photo about sums it up.
Smoking, drinking coffee, thinking, with some writing involved.

Both are excellent.

I spent two days working, organizing and cleaning
the nerd cave. I am very happy with the results.
Much left to do elsewhere however.
